Airport passenger numbers remain below pre-pandemic levels

Passenger numbers are down 22 per cent from April 2019 levels

Although passenger levels at the Sault Ste. Marie Airport are up from April 2024, last month's numbers remain short of pre-pandemic levels, says a news release issued by the Sault Ste. Marie Airport Development Corporation.

"Passenger levels are down 22 per cent from pre-pandemic April 2019 levels."

Air Canada Express currently provides two flights daily while Porter provides two flights daily Sunday to Friday and one on Saturdays. Bearskin Airlines provides three flights Sunday, four flights daily Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, and five daily flights Wednesday.
