The first snow day of the season has hit Sault Ste. Marie.
In addition to all area elementary and high schools being closed due to weather, Algoma University is closed and all in-person classes are cancelled.
Any updates regarding the weather or campus reopening will be shared via email, social media, and the University website.
"We encourage all members of the campus community to exercise caution and account for weather conditions when travelling to, from, or around campus," says a release from the University.
Sault College is also closed today and all classes are cancelled. Employment Solutions offices are also closed.
