The Freedom Sisters of Sault Ste. Marie's Bloom for Change Campaign has returned for another year.

The goal of the campaign, which kicked off on May 15 and is slated to run until June 30, is to have the community show solidarity with survivors of intimate partner violence, to advocate on their behalf for change and to educate the community on the effects of IPV from a survivor’s perspective.

Highlights of the campaign include a Fairy Light Workshop on May 24 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. (registration required), a photo contest (post a photo taken at their store front display the week of May 19-23 at Station Mall for your chance to win), and the Blooms for Change plant a flower contest running from Mother’s Day to June 30.

Purple rose pins will also be available from Freedom Sisters of Sault Ste. Marie on May 20, May 30 and June 10 by donation at Pino's.
