Oh for crying out loud. This is a bit ridiculous. Funny how back in the day they never cancelled for anything now they cancel for maybes.

Why do I remember our kids whining when buses were cancelled because they lived not far from the school and walked. They always expected the walkers to walk in bad storms too. So don’t say back in the day….unless you are referring to pre 1990.

Do the school boards add on these lost days of learning to the end of the school year ?

Schools are still opened? So no.

Why would they? The teachers are working. Do you expect the teachers to do overtime?

It is your responsibility as a parent to get your child to school, the buses are NOT the solution , they have not closed the schools.

Wait!!??!! The Hippy Dippy Weatherman says it "might snow" or it "might rain" and they cancel?!? I completely understand being cautious due to the litigious nature of the vast majority of people, but this is getting to be more than a little insane.

Yes cancel the bus’ on a beautiful clear day, snow hasn’t even hit yet and were calling the bus’ off, instead of calling bus’ off why dont they just plan for the weather aka get plows on the roads hire better winter drivers, like this is rediculous clear day and they call it off, parents must be consistently scrambling once a week seems this year we have had ATLEAST one a week crazyness

Still no snow at noon. As a kid I would love this. No school all the time. I used to pray for snow days.... Haha

Seeing how our bus system is being ran now im debating on having kids, its a great thought but I don’t want the weekly stress of cancelled school bus’ on a clear day when I need to head into work not worth it to be, causes more stress on parents then some may think, 5-10 years ago you were lucky to see them call a snowday nowadays its a weekly thing getting way too rediculous with these “snow days”

You would deprive yourself of children over bus cancellations. This has been an incredible and beautiful winter. A winter many children will never forget. A memory.

When you have kids, kids are frist, work is second. Also kids are the best and bring so much joy. Remember money is a made up concept and you can't actually own anything.

Why not have the buses run at least in the morning since the roads are bare?

And who drives them home???

Good plan. Might be a bit tricky getting them home at the end of the day, if the weather deteriorates and buses can’t run.

I like how everyone complains, but if it was their child that got injured because something happened I wonder how fast before they had a lawsuit against the school board. Todays day and age better safe than sorry.

Seriously parents need to quit complaining about busses being pulled.
It is bad weather and worse that we are expecting. This has been a very bad year for the amount of snow we received.
Safety 1st, or parents can just get dressed and drive them. Sad you have difficulty with your kids at home.

Yes someone else need to run the school buss system. It is a joke today. Cancelled to day & school is over in 45 minutes & it has just. Started to snow. The roads are in better condition then they have been all winter.
