Looking for a special way to celebrate Earth Day?
Join Clean North and the Sault Ste. Marie Public Library for a screening of the documentary film This Film Is Garbage!
Filmmaker and environmental activist Andrew Nisker investigates the story of Canada's garbage. Featuring a local family and an urban condo couple, Nisker takes us on a fun and informative adventure through our everyday garbage. The statistics are dire but Nisker finds ingenuity, hope and even humour in the darkness.
Are you looking for ways you can make a positive impact on our environment? Come watch This Film is Garbage! with us and enjoy a lively discussion with special guest speakers.
The film will be shown in the program room at the downtown James L. McIntyre Centennial Library, 50 East St., Sault Ste. Marie, on Tuesday, April 22 at 6:30 p.m.
Runtime for the film is 87 minutes.
