The Lions Club of Sault Ste. Marie is taking orders for its 64th Annual Rose Day until May 23.

The fundraiser helps support the Lions local community projects.

"We are also reaching out to companies and groups to designate one person at their office or workplace to coordinate the sale of flowers to your staff, clientele or customers," said a news release.

"You can include a “thinking of you” message, thank you to your teacher, best wishes, Happy Anniversary or any other message with the flowers that are being delivered on June 18th to the person or business you specify. Free delivery is still being offered within Sault Ste. Marie city limits."

Prices for flowers remain the same as last year: Roses $22/dozen, mixed bouquets $17 and carnations $15/dozen. To place an order for flowers by May 23rd and brighten someone’s day, please contact Debbie at 705-542-9372 or email her at de.monty@hotmail.com

The Lions have contributed donations over the years to assist St. Vincent Place, supported high school bursaries, hearing preservation, the 2310 Royal Canadian Army Cadet Corps, Salvation Army and many other worthwhile organizations.
