Premier Doug Ford says Ontario will announce the members of the task force on rolling out COVID-19 vaccines tomorrow.
The vaccine rollout is being headed in Ontario by Retired Gen. Rick Hillier.
Ontario Health Minister Christine Elliot said the team's members will include medical, IT and logistics experts, as well as a bioethicist, who will help deal with the ethical issues surrounding who gets the vaccine first after long-term care home residents and front-line health-care workers.
Ford said the federal government is responsible for procuring vaccines, but Ontario's role is to have plans in place to distribute them.
He said it's expected the vaccines will be available in early 2021. But questions such as how many Ontario will get and when they'll arrive remain unanswered.
