Progressive Conservative leader Doug Ford will be visiting Sault Ste. Marie Tuesday.

A party rally will be held at The Water Tower Inn beginning at 5:30 p.m. and is scheduled to run until 7 p.m.

Since winning the party leadership March 10, Ford has travelled the province holding rallies and meeting with voters in anticipation of the next provincial election campaign.

The election will be held on or before June 7.

Ford had planned to visit the Sault Apr. 24 as part of his 'Rally for a Better Ontario' campaign with stops planned for The Machine Shop, Tenaris Algoma Tubes and the Water Tower Inn, but cancelled due to the tragic events which occurred in Toronto April 23, when a Ryder cube van jumped a curb in the Yonge Street and Finch Avenue area, killing 10 people and injuring 16 more.
