In response to growing demand for Canadian products, the City of Sault Ste. Marie’s Economic Development Department has launched Made in Algoma stickers to help local businesses promote their products throughout the region.
“Local businesses in the Algoma District, from dairy producers to bakers, coffee roasters to craft brewers, are encouraged to display their products with these stickers, signifying their commitment to quality and regional support,” a city news release said.
“The initiative highlights the variety of products available from Sault Ste. Marie’s growers and suppliers.”
The Made in Algoma stickers are available free of charge to local businesses while supplies last. They can be picked up at the Sault Ste. Marie MRKT and at the Ronald A. Irwin Civic Centre reception.
“After the initial stock runs out, Cliffe Printing has offered affordable pricing, with 50 stickers available for $10 or 150 stickers for $20,” the release said.
The Economic Development Department is encouraging all eligible businesses to take advantage of this opportunity to showcase their Algoma-made products.
