Superior Heights Collegiate and Vocational School’s music department will be hosting its annual talent show next week.
Expect a night of nostalgia during Amped Up: Vol. 2, featuring solos, duets, choir, and full rock band performances.
In a news release, Superior Heights sophomore Elisabeth Guillermo says it’s an honour to organize the student-run show with her friends.
“We have thoroughly enjoyed orchestrating every aspect, from its beginning to the upcoming day of performances,” she says. “You can expect a stage filled with passion and energy, where students can freely express their creativity.”
“It's going to be an unforgettable experience and core memory for both performers, crew members, and the audience.”
Teacher Ms. Cormier adds the event will be a celebration of the student's hard work and dedication.
“It's inspiring to see them come together to create something so special, and I have no doubt that this season’s Amped Up: Vol. 2 will be a night to remember.”
Amped Up goes Wednesday, May 1 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. in the school’s cafeteria.
Admission is free, but donations will be accepted for the school's music department.
There will also be a bake sale with Superior Bakery Donuts, hot chocolate, and coffee available for purchase.
