The timing of an area of high pressure moving into the Sault region couldn't be better. As winds gradually subside, skies should be mostly sunny for most of this weekend. This sunshine will push daytime highs several degrees warmer than the +6°C we usually see at the start of April.
Friday will start mostly sunny, with daytime highs climbing to +7°C. A few clouds and a cool north wind arrive in the afternoon, making it feel several degrees cooler.
Sunshine returns on Saturday, with near-calm winds and afternoon temperatures that reach +10°C.
The clear skies continue into Sunday as daytime highs remain near +10°C. Clouds move in during the evening and could linger into Monday for the eclipse.
