The first official weekend of spring brings a buffet of various types of more winter-like weather. A cold front shifts a warm Friday into colder weather for Saturday. On Sunday, the temperatures will recover a bit before another blast of winter snow arrives later in the day.
Brief sunshine Monday morning gives way to cloudy skies, and a southerly wind helps push afternoon temperatures to near +5°C. We could see a brief shower early in the evening before winds veer to the northwest and change showers to flurries as the sun sets.
The cold north wind returns Saturday to drop daytime highs to -4°C under partly cloudy skies.
Skies cloud over on Sunday, and daytime highs warm to +1°C. In the evening, the leading edge of a storm arrives, bringing another 10-15cm of snow overnight.
