CASS recognized the dedication and achievement of its outstanding athletes and coaching staff at its Annual Athlete Awards Banquet

Central Algoma Secondary School recognized the dedication and achievement of its outstanding athletes and coaching staff at its Annual Athlete Awards Banquet.

For some of the Desbarats high school students, the banquet was their first time crossing the stage accepting an award.

With graduation later this month, last week's athletic banquet was an athlete's last opportunity to take home one or more coveted athletic awards.

Senior Female Athlete of the Year: Emily Good

Senior Male Athlete of the Year: Merrick Adams.

Intermediate Female Athlete of the Year: Shilo Rousseau

Intermediate Male Athlete of the Year: Roy Barber.

Spearchucker - Biggest goof up of the year: Matt Grexton (absent).
