Sault College is making its inaugural call to a new celebratory Hall.
The college is inviting nominations for the first inductions into its Athletics Hall of Fame.
The Hall will honour "the remarkable achievements and contributions of individuals and teams who have shaped the legacy of Sault College athletics," says a news release.
Nominations are now open to the community and people will be honoured in four categories: athlete, coach, builder and teams.
"We are excited to launch the Sault College Athletics Hall of Fame and recognize the exceptional talents and contributions of our athletes, coaches, builders, and teams," said Paul Orazietti, director of athletics and student engagement at the school.
The deadline for nominations is Nov. 15, 2024, and the induction ceremony for the first Hall of Fame class will take place in early 2025.
