Eight members of the Legion Hapkido martial arts group braved the icy road conditions to travel to Sudbury for the WKC Regional Qualifiers.

Members of the Legion Hapkido martial arts group braved the icy road conditions to travel to Sudbury for the WKC Regional Qualifiers.

The Team came home with 19 medals.

Intermediate Girls:

Julianna Agustin earned a Bronze in Forms, a Silver in Sparring, a Gold in Weapons, a Bronze in Self Defence, and Bronze in Team Demo. Zoe Mathieu earned a Silver in forms, Bronze in Sparring, a Bronze in Weapons, and Bronze in Team Demo. Madison Beriault earned a Bronze in Forms, a Bronze in Sparring, Bronze in Self defence, and Bronze in Team Demo.

Intermediate Boys:

Asher Morin earned Bronze in Forms, a Bronze in Weapons, and a Silver in Self Defence.

Matt Paetzold placed 5th in Self Defence.

Novice Boys:

Lincoln Lachapelle earned Silver in Sparring, and placed 5th in Forms and Weapons.

Adult Men Novice:

Travis Perks earned Bronze in Weapons, and a Bronze in Self Defence.

Adult Men Black Belt:

KJN Steven Jensen did his best but did not place in a Division that had a LOT of great competitors.
