There was plenty of scoring as the championships were decided within the Sault Minor Football Association Saturday night at Rocky DiPietro Field. In the tyke division title tilt, Kyle Mammarella had five touchdowns, offsetting four from Matt Wagner, as Rome's bested Sports Gold 49-36. In bantam division, Graham Imre sparked Blueliners Lounge to the championship with a 45-20 win over All Star Trophies. Cody Marshall had three TDs in defeat. Saturday's games put an end to the summer football season in the Sault. The SMFA season is now done and both the Sault Storm of the Northern Football Conference and the Sault Sabercats of the Ontario Varsity Football League completed their respective seasons out of town on Saturday. Both the Storm and the Sabercats failed to qualify for the playoffs.
