In semi-final Action on Friday October 18, the Sir James Dunn Eagles blanked the Bawating Braves 28-0. The game took place at 7:00 on Rocky DiPietro field. Star running back Nigel Milne, scored three majors for the Dunn, as the strong running game, and stifling defence of the Eagles, was just too much for the Braves to handle.

In the other semi-final game, played 1:00 on Saturday October 19, showed another dominant win on Rocky DiPietro Field. This time, it was the St. Mary's Knights shutting down the Korah Colts in every aspect of the game.

Quarterback Anthony Amadio, tossed three touchdown passes, two to Joe Lamon, and one to Andrew Ross. Running backs Kyle Dugas, and Dan Esson each picked up a rushing touchdown in the 42-0 win.

The win was sweet revenge for the Knights, who were the victims of a shocking upset, in last year's semi-final game, when they lost by a "hockey score" of 4-3.

This sets up what should be an extremely exciting championship game. The last time these two titans clashed, it took a last minute punt for a rouge (single point) to put the Knights over the top in a 15-14 win.

It matches what is the best offensive attack in the league against one of the most impressive defences I've ever seen on a high school football team.

The proof is in the numbers, the 15 points the Knights scored on the Dunn, was their lowest total of the season, and the Dunn's defence has been improving all year which is shown by its gradual decline in points allowed as the season went on.

You can see this game on Friday October 25 at Rocky Dipietro field. All signs point to this being a final that is well worth the price of admission.
