In his second week of regular competition at the track, Wilson, pictured, grabbed his second consecutive feature victory on Friday night.

Also highlighting the night was the first ever feature win for factory stock driver Josh Ware, his third victory of the evening.

The following is a complete press release highlighting the night's action provided by the Kinross Speedway:

It was Domino's Noid Night at the races this past Friday Night at the Kinross Speedway as a special 5-in-1 show was on tap for the evening.

On top of the regular show of Late Models, Factory Stocks, Pure Stocks and 4-Cylinders, the Northern Michigan Speedway's Pro 4-Cylinders made their first appearance of the 2004 season.

With an intermission-free show that provided three-and-a-half hours of racing excitement, it was definitely a night that would not disappoint the fans in attendance.

The Factory Stock Division would see a new track record set when Pee Wee Fountain (50) blistered the ¼ mile in a mere 15.280 seconds.

Paul Fox (36) won the four-car dash before Josh Ware (7) would find victory in two-consecutive races after reeling-in the Australian Pursuit and 10-lap heat race.

The largest-field of the season was set to start the 25-lap feature event but it would be reduced by one-car after Cecil Piche would experience problems with his "Pink Panther" car #88 for no-less than the 2nd time this season.

Ware and defending-track champion Jerry Ball (8) would set the pace to start off this very stout field.

Week #8 would see just over 3-tenths of a second separating your top 8 cars.

Ware would grab the lead from the early starting position but would not be able to pull away from the field as they began to line-up behind him looking for the opportunity to move up in positions.

Through the motion of the final laps of this race no one would be able to take first place from the grasp of Ware as that Sault, MICHIGAN driver would claim his first-ever Factory Stock feature and third win of the night.

The win would be sweet redemption after blowing 2 engines in as many weeks prior to this night.

Ball and Johnson would round out the top 3 positions.

Eric Sherlund was the fastest of the twenty-five Four-Cylinders that would take their 2-laps of qualifying, with a fast lap of 17.920 seconds.

Sherlund would take the early bragging rights for the night after grabbing the checkered flag in the four-car dash.

Tony Rankin (55), Scott Henning (6) and Aaron Lemay (10) would scoop up the wins in the division's three Australian Pursuit races.

Henning would return to victory lane for his second time on the night after grabbing heat race #1 while Preston Nightlinger (48) would grab heat race #3. 2004 rookie and one of the two lady drivers in the division, Brandy Clawson (36) would win her first race of the season in heat race #2.

It would take until lap 18 before Clawson would grab the first place position.

The checker flag would fly with him in the same position while Sherlund, Nightlinger, John Mayer (9) and Chris Brady (17) capped off the top 5 positions.

Newberry, MICHIGAN native Chuck Johnson (5R) was your Pure Stock fast qualifier coming in under the lights in 16.800 seconds.

Randy Miller (73) won the four-car dash before Larry Young Jr. (25) took the checker flag in the division's lone Australian Pursuit race. Young Jr. would later take heat race #1 while current-point leader Barry Glenn (55) won the second heat race.

Just five laps in Al Odbert III was up to 2nd while Glenn was now up to third from the back of the pack. One more caution would fall on the Speedway but the racing thereafter would erase those thoughts.

With Odbert having a strong run in third place, your top two cars, Huyck and Glenn had a tenacious battle for at least 7 laps as they ran side-by-side around the ¼ mile.

It would take until lap 23 before Glenn could work the outside and into the top position. "Mr. Feature", Glenn, would roll-on to his 5th consecutive feature win.

Huyck, Odbert, Young Jr, Johnson, Miller, Tim Gregory (21), Ray Golladay Jr. (20), Terry Johnson (11) and Paul Little (24) were your top 10 cars.

Despite a lower-car count the Late Model division would see the tightest qualifying of the season, as 4 drivers would break into the thirteen-second barrier.

Dave Vansloten (33) was fast qualifier with a time of 13.800 seconds.

Mark Howland (59) would continue his bid to catch 2nd place in the standings with a win in the four-car dash only to back that up with the top position in the 10-lap heat race.

Howland and George Wilson (67) brought the field down to the green flag for their final race of the night.

This race would see Dave Vansloten looking to keep his points up as Sam Bohling would lend him his familiar #45 car, after Dave was towed back pit side in the heat race with problems underneath his William N. Burton trucking sponsored car.

Wilson was able to grab the lead on the opening lap and begin to pace the field around the Speedway.

Howland would attempt to reel him in on a number of occasions but it was for not as the Soo, ONTARIO native would lead all laps of the feature to grab his 2nd consecutive feature win at Kinross.

Howland and Nick Guerriero (4) were your top 3.

The fifth and final division to qualify on this night were the Pro 4-Cylinders from the Northern Michigan Speedway.

NMS Co-Promoter Don Sevenski (7) set fast time with a lap of 15.990.

Tom Jepsen (25) woud take the four-car dash while Harbour Springs, MICHIGAN native John Clancy (28) was able to hold off the hard charges to claim the heat race victory.

When the feature rolled out onto the Speedway, Clancy and Jepsen made up your front row.

The field would run the first five laps all bunched up before Clancy would lead a few laps in his Ford Pinto. Jepsen was then able to power his #25 truck to the front with Sevenski now lurking in the weeds and looking to make a run.

It would take until just 2 laps remaining before Sevenski would make the pass and into the lead. The checker flag would fly with him grabbing his first-ever win up at Kinross followed by Jepsen, Victor Hart III (45), Clancy and Ray Kihn (11) rounding out the top 5.

The speed, competition and excitement returns to this Northern Michigan facility this coming Friday, July 30th with another full 4-in-1 show of Late Models, Factory Stocks, Pure Stocks and Four Cylinders along with Round 2 of our Powder Puff races.

In addition, Northside Used Auto will be providing lap money to our Late Model, Factory Stock and Pure Stock feature races.

Qualifying is at 6 p.m. with racing action at 7:30 p.m.
