Join us on May 1 for the Spring Fling Fundraiser hosted by The Ontario Finnish Resthome Foundation (OFRF) and the Uusi Koti – Our New Home Campaign for Seniors’ Independent Living.
This fun evening at the Marconi Club begins with cocktails at 6 p.m. and a pasta dinner at 7 p.m. Cash bar all evening.
Be entertained by Frankly Speaking while outbidding your friends at the silent auction and raffles.
This event is for adults 19 years of age or older.
Guests are invited to enter a bid on a large variety of silent auction prizes and raffle items generously donated by local businesses and individuals.
Almost $10,000 in prizes will be drawn through out the evening.
We have over 100 items including a Yamaha Home Theatre and a Wheel Barrel of Wines. Funds raised from the Spring Fling Fundraiser will go to our Uusi Koti – the New Home Campaign for Seniors’ Independent Living.
With an ever-growing aging population and an increasing need for housing and services, the Ontario Finnish Resthome family is committed to providing the best care for its residents, and supporting seniors in our community as a whole.
Tickets are only $30 and will include entrance and dinner.
Tickets can be purchased through the Foundation Fundraising Office at (705)-945-9987 ext. 257 or by visiting 721 North Street.
Tickets will also be available at the Station Mall on April 28 and 29 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
You can also pick up tickets at Paul’s Bakery at 213 Wellington Street West until April 29.
There will be limited tickets at the door so get your tickets now to avoid disappointment.
ABOUT OFRF and the UUSI KOTI CAMPAIGN
The Ontario Finnish Resthome Foundation (OFRF) is a non-profit charitable organization providing safe and affordable housing to all seniors in the Algoma District.
With three current buildings, OFRA provides all levels of seniors care and is known for their exceptional quality of services and currently houses to over 300 residents.
OFRF (The Ontario Finnish Resthome Foundation) is anticipating and meeting the ever-growing needs of the seniors in the Algoma communities by launching the Uusi Koti - A New Home: Campaign for Seniors Independent Living.
OFRF is committed to raising $2 million towards the construction of the new senior’s residence.
