THUNDER BAY – Tulloch Engineering is pleased to announce that it will be opening a full service office in Thunder Bay, Ontario effective November 1, 2015.

This announcement comes less than eight months after joining forces with A. J. Clarke & Associates in Hamilton, expanding Tulloch’s presence yet again.

“Tulloch’s operations have focused primarily on Northeastern Ontario, with the exception of our Ottawa office (Eastern Ontario) and more recently our Hamilton Office (Central Ontario),” said Mark Tulloch, Chief Operating Officer, Tulloch Engineering.

“However, numerous clients are consistently bringing us into Northwestern Ontario,” added Tulloch. “This, coupled with the fact that we anticipate a significant influx of surveying and engineering work in the region, made the decision to expand into Thunder Bay a clearly strategic one.”

Tulloch Engineering’s Thunder Bay office will be led by Dave McColl, P.Eng.

"I am very excited about the opportunity to work with Tulloch Engineering to establish a full-service office in Thunder Bay," said Dave McColl. "We'll be building qualified teams to provide services in four key areas: contract administration, land surveying, highway and municipal engineering, and geotechnical engineering."

“Dave brings to Tulloch a wealth of experience in surveying, engineering, construction, maintenance and operations and we are honored that he has joined our team,” added Tulloch.

Dave completed the Civil Engineering Technology program at Confederation College and graduated from Lakehead University with a degree in Civil Engineering.

He worked at the Ontario Ministry of Transportation in Thunder Bay for 22 years and at the MTO Head Office in St. Catharines for the past three years.

Prior to that, he worked for 12 years with surveying and engineering consulting firms.

Tulloch is a multi-disciplinary engineering firm with services in civil engineering, planning, environmental studies, geomatics engineering, LiDAR and mapping services, transportation engineering, geotechnical engineering, structural engineering and forestry engineering.

Tulloch was founded over 20 years ago and has ten office locations throughout Ontario.

Eight (including Thunder Bay) are situated in Northern Ontario with the ninth in Ottawa and the tenth in Hamilton.
