We regret to announce the sudden passing of Doug Armstrong at his home on Sunday, May 5, 2024, due to a heart attack.
Doug is the dear son of Patty Penfold and the late Allen Armstrong. Much loved brother of Dave Armstrong (Rita) and Dan Armstrong.
Doug will be sadly missed by many aunts, uncles, cousins, his grandmother Marie Penfold and many friends.
Doug’s family wishes to thank Doug’s many care givers, healthcare workers, as well at the Sault Area Hospital and CMHA staff who tried their best to help him cope with his mental health issues over the years.
Rest in Peace Doug, we love you, miss you and will keep you in our hearts forever.
