It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of John Bain at the FJ Davey Home on Friday, March 15, 2024.
He leaves behind his loving wife and best friend, Donna. Father to Melinda McAllister (Rob) and the late Elizabeth. He also leaves behind his extended family; John Parr (Sandra) of Sault Ste. Marie, ON, Kevin Parr of Strathroy, ON, and Paul Parr (Kim) of Calgary, AB. Brother of Glendon (Marion) of New Brunswick. Brother-in-law to Joan Royle of Dundas, On and the late Gordon Royle (Irene). John leaves behind his inherited grandchildren and great grandchildren, mostly residing in Calgary.
A special thank you to all the staff in Apple Orchard 2 at the FJ Davey Home for the attention, assistance and compassion John received. Thank you to Gordon Smedley for all of his visits.
Cremation has taken place, and a Celebration of John’s Life will be announced at a later date.
