After a courageous battle with Lewy Body Dementia, Teresa passed peacefully on Thursday December 27, 2018 at the F. J. Davey Home at the age of 77. She is now reunited with her beloved husband Guerino, whom she missed so much. Cherished and deeply loved mother of Connie (Sam), Paul (Nella) and Carmen. “Nana Teresa” was blessed and so proud of her 6 wonderful grandchildren; John, Anna, Sara, Rino, Mya and Brianna. Precious daughter of Carla and the late Alberto Caputo. Loving sister of Michael (late Lyn) and the late Carmen. Wonderful sister-in-law of Anna Caputo (late Ernesto), late Battista (Ida), late Guglielmo (Flora), late Palmina Caruso (late Alessandro), late Francesca Bennardo (late Carmine), late Maria, and the late Eugenia DeLuca (Antonio). She will also be lovingly remembered by her many uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces and cousins.
Teresa was known as a gentle soul, always giving selflessly, loving sincerely, caring for others before herself and being a good Christian by example. She will be remembered for her beautiful floral arrangements she created in her flower shop for many years until the time of her illness. Her beautiful smile and generous heart will be our most precious memory. Family and friends may call at O’Sullivan Funeral Home and Cremation Centre (215 St. James St.) on Monday December 31, 2018 from 11:00am-1:30pm. Funeral Mass to follow at St. Gregory’s Church (71 Estelle St.) at 2:00pm with Father Trevor Scarfone officiating. Entombment at Holy Sepulchre.
