It is with broken hearts that we say goodbye to Mary Anne Mascardelli, our loving mother who passed away swiftly and peacefully on May 31, 2025 at the age of 78 years, at Health Sciences North Hospital in Sudbury, Ontario.
Daughter of the late William and the late Eileen (nee Smith) Boston.
Mary was surrounded by her devoted children; Carol Lynn Mascardelli (James), Michael Mascardelli (Jenn), David Mascardelli (Pam), and granddaughter Madison Mascardelli (Jordan). She was an adoring and proud Nana to Madison, Damon and Isabella, and cherished grand-Nana to Emberle and Leander Davis.
Mary Anne was a very beloved sister to David and Gay Boston, and special aunt to William Boston (Tammy) and Elizabeth Muehlbacher (Brad). Great auntie to Henry and Boone Muehlbacher.
She will be forever missed by all her England family, Mascardelli and Boston families, and all who knew her from years at Algoma Steel. She will be deeply missed by all her friends, especially her bingo buddies Pearl, Shirley, and Vi from Garden River Bingo Hall and her cherished long-time friends Val, Jacky, Sally, Linda and Henny.
Mom lived her life as a kind gentle soul, who was devoted to her family and friends. She was an animal lover and avid golf-watcher. She enjoyed travelling to many destinations throughout her life.
Mary Anne’s last words “I am so lucky to have had such a good life, great kids, and a wonderful family.”

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, July 13, 2025 between 1-4 p.m. at the Waterfront Adventure Centre, 18 McPhail Ave, Sault Ste. Marie, ON, P6A 3K4.
