COTE, Theodore "Ted" June 3, 1933 - June 15, 2024
It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the passing of Ted at the age of 91.
Son of the late Israel and Rose Cote. Proud father of Ron (Barbara), Perry and the late Billy Cote. Dear brother to the late Irene Chartrand (late Oscar), late Beatrice Joanisse (late Ivan), late Louis Cote (late Florence), late Theresa Marenger (late Buck), late Rene Cote (Phyllis), late Bobby (Judy) and Marlene Cote (late Leo). Grampa of Stephanie, Erin (Jamie), Timmy (Krystal), Ryan (Marion) and Devon (Ali). Great Grampa to Oliver and Jude. Ted also leaves behind many nieces nephews and friends.
Our father will be fondly remembered for being an outgoing and caring individual whose sense of humor will be missed by all. He was affectionately known as "Grampa Ted" not only to his own grandchildren, but to many others as well. Ted worked at the Transportation Department of Algoma Steel for over 30 years but others may know him from the Finnish Rest Home or the Campbell Place. Ted will be deeply missed by his sister Marlene who still resides at the Finnish Rest Home.
Cremation has taken place and a private family graveside service will follow. A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
