Peacefully at the F. J. Davey Home on Monday, February 24th, 2020 at the age of 83. Survived by his beloved wife and best friend Jacqueline for 53 years. Loving father of Scott (Claudine). Proud and adoring grandfather of Riley. He will be missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Jack was passionate about his career as a firefighter and honoured to have over 30 years with the department when he retired as the Chief Fire Inspector. Enthusiastic fan of the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Soo Greyhounds. A special thank you to Sault Area Hospital staff (3B) and the Davey Home for their compassionate care. At Jack's request a Private Family Service will be held at a later date. Memorial donations (payable by cheque) to the SAH Foundation or the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
