Passed away unexpectedly at home on March 3rd, 2024, at the age of 69.
Survived by his loving friend and mother to his children Jody Racicot. Father to Fred and Amy (Yves). Proud grandfather to Hazel, his pride and joy.
Son of Ellamae (nee Butterworth) and the late Clifford McLeod. Brother to Kathy Holly, Dennis Goodfellow, and the late Raymond Goodfellow. Uncle to Heather, Paul, and Britney. Mike will be missed by many lifelong fishing and hunting friends.
Mike was a one-of-a-kind man, who could make your life better by simply being in it. A man whose jolly smile could light up an entire room. A man with so much wisdom, patience and understanding to share with anyone willing to listen. Mike loved to fish and go “picking”. He was always out thrifting, looking for the neatest treasures to share. He was a mentor, hero and legend that will never be forgotten.
Family and friends are invited to a Celebration of Life Come and Go on Monday, March 11, 2024, from 12:00 pm – 3:00 pm at O’Sullivan Funeral Home (215 St. James St, SSM). A Memorial Service will take place at 3:15 pm in the chapel with Mrs. Helen Smith officiating.
Memorial donations in memory of Mike may be made to Kids Fish Camp (Payable by cheque only).
