Peacefully at North Shore Health Network, Blind River on Thursday, February 27, 2025 at the age of 83 with family at her side.
Devoted wife of Gerald for 64 years. Loving mother of Kelly (Dominique), Rhonda Forcier, Janice Shea (Dan) and Kim Rousselle (Paul). Proud Grammie of Tiffany, Drew, late Wayne, Jennifer, Kristin, Ryan, Chelsea, Caleb, Sydney and Hailey and Great Grammie of eight. Dear sister of the late Larry, late Gail, Sandra and Darlene. Sister-in-law of the late Arlene, Larry and Kenny. Myrna will also be missed by many nieces and nephews.
Myrna loved spending time with her children and grandchildren and was heavily involved in all their interests and activities. She loved living on the lake and being out on the pontoon boat, going to BINGO and weekly music jam sessions with her friends. She enjoyed crocheting and selling her creations at craft shows. Myrna had a zest for life and was happiest bringing joy to others such as making surprise appearances dressed up as a clown for birthday parties, as Santa Claus and creative Halloween costumes. She never passed up the opportunity of a good deal whether she needed something or not. One thing for certain, you never left Myrna’s home with an empty stomach. Those who knew Myrna will remember her generosity, resiliency, strength and how proud of her family she was.

Friends and family are invited to a come and go celebration of life on Saturday, March 22, 2025 from 1 pm to 4 pm at the Royal Canadian Legion Hall in Blind River. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the North Shore Health Network Foundation would be appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to Menard Funeral Home.
