It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of James at the age of 97.
He was son to the late Horace and Esther Park. He is predeceased by his wife Evelyn Park (nee Reesor). Proud father of Lorne Park. The family would like to extend a special thank you to his neighbors Ann Cowell and Carolyn and Ken Floyd for their care and friendship.
James really enjoyed playing pool with his buddies from work after a long day. He will be fondly remembered for his wonderful sense of humor and his unique ability to communicate with people. In his younger days, he was an avid motorcycle enthusiast and really missed riding his Harley after he was no longer able. James took great enjoyment in watching the wildlife around the house in his later years.
As per James' request there will be no formal funeral service at this time. Arrangements entrusted to Arthur Funeral Home - Barton & Kiteley Chapel (492 Wellington St. E., 705-759-2522). In lieu of flowers, memorial donations (made payable by cheque or online) to SAH Cancer Care Fund, a charity that was near and dear to James' heart would be greatly appreciated by the family.
