With great sorrow the family of Melvin Oscar Sherlock announces his passing on January 15, 2019 at ARCH in Sault Ste. Marie. Husband of the late Marveen. Beloved father of Wendy Cornelis (Larry), Terry Gruber (Todd), Dawn Miller (Tim) and the late Paula Sherlock. Grandfather of Becky (Nick), Jason, Alex (Andy), Nick (Nicole) and Matthew. Great grandfather of Quinn, Lilah and Leif. Brother and friend of the late Gerry (Donna), late Mary Breckenridge (late Bill), Bud (late Darlene), late Pat Leonard (late Bucky), late Lorne (Jean), late Merlyn (Ronnie), Wayne (Donna) and the late Doreen Hunter (Gord). Uncle Sonny will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Special thank you to his niece Shawna Piroli for all her love and care throughout his illness. Thank you to doctor Nicole Apostle, ParaHealth especially Donna and to the exceptional team at ARCH.A Celebration of Life will take place at the Elk's Hall, downstairs (216 Bay Street) on Saturday January 19, 2019 at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to ARCH or the Elk's Oncology Van Fund.
