Barbara Weeks, age 81, passed away peacefully in her sleep and into the loving arms of Jesus on January 27, 2025, at home in Niagara Falls, Ontario. Born and raised in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, Barb and her husband Ron recently relocated to Niagara Falls to be closer to their family. Barbara was the devoted wife of Ronald Weeks for 62 years. Their enduring love story served as an inspiration to all who knew them.

Barbara cherished her family above all else. She was a loving and supportive wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She leaves behind her beloved husband, Ronald Weeks; her cherished daughter, Ronda McDonald (Kevin); her precious grandsons, Tyler McDonald, Curtis McDonald (Jamie), and Jordan McDonald (Ninoska); and her adored great-grandchildren, Eden, Beric, Boe, and Mia McDonald. She leaves a legacy of love, kindness, and devotion. Barbara was a doting grandmother, always showering her grandchildren and great-grandchildren with love and affection.

Barbara enjoyed making her home a comfortable place. She also worked outside the home in various administrative and finance roles. Her true passion, however, lay in her unwavering faith and her involvement with her church. She poured her heart into children's ministry, impacting the lives of many young people. Alongside her husband, Ron, she served in the church's bus program, ensuring that children had the opportunity to worship Jesus and be apart of a faith community at Elim Pentecostal Tabernacle.

Barbara had a keen eye for beauty and enjoyed beautiful things in life. She loved fashion, the color fuchsia, gardening and decorating. She shared a passion for cars with her husband, Ron and they enjoyed many adventures together, including camping in their trailers, winter trips to Florida and numerous other travel experiences. Barbara and Ron also loved to cruise in their sports cars, enjoying curvy roads and the beautiful scenery.

A service to celebrate Barbara’s life will be held at a later date in Sault Ste. Marie. Arrangements are entrusted to Essentials Cremation and Burial Services.
