The Canadian Food Inspection Agency says bird flu has been found at a second farm in southern Ontario in as many days.

TORONTO — Ontario has reached a deal with the federal government to reduce licensed child-care fees to an average of $10 a day within five years. The province was the last jurisdiction to sign on to the national program.

Ontario parents of children aged five and under will start getting rebates for licensed child-care fees in May and can expect to see costs cut in half by the end of the year now that the province has become the final signatory to a national program.

Ontario physicians have ratified a new contract with the province. The Ontario Medical Association shared the outcome of last week's vote on the agreement on Monday.
