THUNDER BAY, Ont. — Celia Echum, the chief of Ginoogaming First Nation northeast of Thunder Bay, Ont., has died. A news release from Nishnawbe Aski Nation Grand Chief Alvin Fiddler says Echum died suddenly Saturday morning.
