THEFT OF TRAILER WHITE RIVER - On Tuesday, November 2, 2011 Superior East OPP White River Detachment was advised of a theft of a flat deck trailer had occurred 14km south of White River in Vasiloff Township.

(KAPUSKASING, ON.) – On Wednesday, November 2, 2011 at approximately 11:45 a.m. the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) James Bay Detachments received a report of a helicopter crash from the Joint Rescue Coordination Center (JRCC).

ASSAULT AT LOCAL LIQUOR ESTABLISHMENT (WAWA, ON.)* -- Early on October 30^th , 2011 the Superior East Ontario Provincial Police Wawa Detachment were called to a local liquor establishment in regards to an assault that had occurred to an employee.

MALE FACING NUMEROUSE CHARGES (Blind River, ON.) – On October 25, 2011 at 2:28 a.m. officers from the East Algoma OPP saw people standing outside a parked car on Causley Street in Blind River.

DOMESTIC DISTURBANCE INVESTIGATED (AWERES TWP., ON) - On Friday, October 21, 2011 Sault Ste. Marie OPP were dispatched to a domestic incident in Aweres Township.

LOCAL MAN FATALLY INJURED Struck By Falling Tree (MEREDITH TWP., ON) – On Thursday October 20, 2011 at approximately 10:45 am a man was helping his neighbour with two trees that had fallen over on Cameron Road in Meredith Township.

BEWARE OF COUNTERFEIT MONEY Two Incidents Reported to Police (Vankoughnet Twp., ON) - OPP received a call from a local business in the Goulais River area regarding a bank note believed to be a counterfeit $100 American bill.

MOTOR VEHICLE COLLISION WITH A BEAR (Garden River First Nation, ON) – OPP responded to a motor vehicle collision yesterday evening at 11:30 pm on Highway 17 east near Jardin Mine Road.

Concealed weapon charges for local male ELLIOT LAKE, ON – On October 5, 2011 at approximately 1 p.m. officers of the East Algoma conducted a traffic stop on Axmith Avenue in Elliot Lake.

POLICE DEFUSE THREATENING SITUATION (THESSALON, ON.) – On October 5, 2011 at 8:45 p.m. East Algoma OPP responded to a disturbance on River Street in Thessalon where a man reported being threatened by another man.
