FEMALE SENT TO HOSPITAL AFTER BEING RUN OVER BY SNOW MACHINE (Blind River, ON.) – On January 23, 2011 at 2:00 a.m. OPP received a call that a female had fallen off a snow machine then was run over another.

SUBJECT ENTERS THROUGH UNLOCKED DOOR (Elliot Lake, Ontario) – The East Algoma OPP is currently investigating the theft of Fentanyl patches from a local residence. On Sunday, January 16, 2011 at approximately 8:17 p.m.

YOUTH CHARGED WITH DRUG POSSESSION (Blind River, ON.) –East Algoma OPP has charged a 14 year old male from Blind River with possession of a controlled substance.

STOLEN LOG TRAILER CHAPLEAU (CHAPLEAU, ON.) – On January 11, 2011 Superior East OPP in Chapleau received a report that a Logging Trailer had been stolen from Northern Haul Contracting in Chapleau.

CAMPS DESTROYED BY FIRE – POLICE INVESTIGATING (St Joseph Island, Ontario) – The East Algoma OPP is currently investigating two fires in the area of Hilton Township on St. Joseph Island.

LOCAL MALE REMAINS IN CUSTODY AFTER THREATENING COMPLAINT (Elliot Lake, Ontario) – Police arrested and charged a local male after received a complaint of a possible assault with a weapon. On December 27, 2010 at approximately 8:15 p.m.

FATAL FIRE ON CHRISTMAS EVE (Elliot Lake, Ontario) – On Friday, December 24th, 2010 at approximately 8:00 a.m. the East Algoma OPP responded to a residential fire on Westhill Road in Elliot Lake.

MOLOTOV COCKTAILS NET SEVERAL CHARGES FOR LOCAL FEMALE (Elliot Lake, Ontario) – The East Algoma OPP has arrested and charged a local female with several charges after receiving a police assistance call.

STOLEN VEHICLE FOUND BURNT (Blind River, ON.) – In the morning of December 8, 2010 East Algoma OPP received a report of a stolen 1996 red Chevrolet Cavalier from Hawkins Avenue in Blind River.
