FLIGHT FROM POLICE (Elliot Lake, Ontario) August 22, 2009 at approximately 4:12 p.m. while on general patrol, an officer of the East Algoma OPP attempted to stop a vehicle on Mississauga Avenue.

DRIVER SUCCOMBS TO INJURIES FROM COLLISION (Thessalon, ON.) On August 12, 2009 police reported a two vehicle collision on Highway 17 west of Thessalon which caused the highway to be closed and one of the drivers being airlifted to Toronto.

DRIVER IN CRITICAL CONDITION AFTER COLLISION (Thessalon, ON.) At 8:30 a.m. on August 11 two vehicles collided just west of Thessalon causing Highway 17 to be closed for approximately 3 hours.
