FEMALE YOUTH FACING SEVERAL CHARGES (Elliot Lake, Ont.) On April 12, 2007 the East Algoma OPP were advised of a possible assault at a local high schools. The two (2) female victims attended the detachment and statements were provided.

Seat Belt Campaign Activity Sault Ste Marie Detachment and OPP Traffic and Marine officers checked 557 vehicles. Thirty six seat charges were issued. The public can expect intensive efforts over the next two weeks by all police services in Ontario.
