SINGLE VEHICLE ACCIDENT LEADS TO CHARGES A single-vehicle collision early Saturday morning has resulted in impaired driving charges against a Bruce Mines man. Just after midnight yesterday, Sault O.P.P.

MAN INJURED WHILE WORKING ON TRUCK (Bruce Mines) Yesterday at 4:30 p.m., a man was pinned under his truck while working on it. Edwin Wonch, age 46, of Bruce Mines was working on the gas tank while it was parked on a grassy area.

DOG SHOT ATTACKING CATTLE A farmer on Hwy 552 in Goulais River shot and killed one of two dogs that he found attacking his cattle early this morning. At about 1:30, police were called to the farm to assist the farmer in locating the second dog.

COLLISION SENDS ONE TO HOSPITAL Yesterday afternoon at 4:00, a collision between a car and a transport truck sent one man from the Sault to hospital. A transport had just pulled onto highway 17 at Pumpkin Point Road in Laird Twp., east of Echo Bay.
