The Sault Ste. Marie detachment of the OPP report there have been no accidents as yet due to the winter driving conditions that arrived in our area last night.

The rainy wet weather over the weekend helped to keep incidents down in the areas patrolled by the Sault O.P.P. WASHOUT Officers came upon a washout in the westbound lane of Highway 17 at Pumpkin Point Road east of Echo Bay.

OPP in Sault Ste. Marie had a very quiet night last night and have nothing to report. A 67-year-old Alzheimer's patient from the Kirkland Lake area who was reported missing yesterday has been located in good condition.

QUIET NIGHT The Ontario Provincial Police has had a quiet twenty-four hours with no accidents or arrests to report.

STOLEN VEHICLE RECOVERED Heyden, Ont., Sault Ste Marie OPP recovered another stolen vehicle that had been reported stolen to the Sault Ste Marie City Police.

SINGLE VEHICLE COLLISION--MINOR INJURIES Heyden, Ont., A single vehicle accident yesterday at about 12:30 p.m. sent one woman to hospital with minor injuries.
