Correction....at least in regard to requesting an abortion.....it is not your life , it is someone elses life. So why should a doctor be demanded to help enable ( or administer) a killing of an unborn as yet human life. ....if they don't want to.

his money, his choice. The father becomes a 3rd rate person. if he wants the child, the mother can say no. but if the mother wants the child but the father doesn't, he still has to pay support?
abortion is murder. at 12 weeks, the child can move its fingers and toes. just because a mother is ok with destroying a life doesn't mean that a doctor has to turn into a robot. The mother is making a choice, so is the doctor.
the father isn't the one who was to carry the child and absorb the risks of pregnancy. The father can run away from a baby while the mother can't. There is no child until the child is born and breathing on its own. Until then it is the mother's body. You wouldn't want me to take away your bodily autonomy, so why should a pregnant person lose her rights?

and if the father runs, he's still on the hook. also, anyone on a respirator should be considered a non life too? I mean, since life means breathing on your own?
Most respected Doctors pursue the proffession to help save lives and respect life and only in extreme situations help end life to help put someone out of extreme misery. Most abortions are performed to help put someone out of an inconvenient situation by taking the life of a unborn human being.
Unfortunately it's politicians that set parameters not religious belief.

if you have a child, theres no way I can understand you supporting abortion. if you don't have a child, how can you possibly put a value on a life? adoption is always an option.

Have you ever been pregnant? If not, then stop making assumptions and forcing your values on others. If you have been pregnant and had the luxury of it being wanted, at a time when you have the financial needs to support it, when it's not a product of assault, then I'm happy for you, but put yourself in the shoes of someone who does not have that luxury. Until then, you cannot pass judgment, and that's straight out of the Bible.
Say I got pregnant and didn’t want the baby but couldn’t have an abortion. Would you like to adopt the child then? Are you going to go out and adopt all the children that got put up for adoption that didn’t get aborted? What about the kids in foster care? Or are you going to financially assist the parents that are living in poverty because they had this child? No? Then shut up
Or what about all the rape victims that ended up pregnant? Would you like to take the child from them? The ones that Is a constant reminder of what they went through? Or how about the people that did used birth control, but there’s still that 1% chance that it will fail, and it has because I know people.
if you got pregnant and didn't want the kid, maybe someone should educate you on what consequences are.

They have NO value for life..and here lies the problem. Ronald Reagan once said something to the effect, "I've noticed everyone who is pro-choice, has been born already." How is it auto homicide when both expectant mother and unborn child are killed then? Would these people say the same thing about an unborn puppy..it is not alive because it has not been born yet? Or they may same something like, it is simply a bundle of cells..I have news for you..you are just a bundle of cells. Orientation has not changed...just your selfish convenience. Stop lying to yourselves.
Absolutely docs. only concern is welfare of patient. Religion is between you and your inner self. Keep it to yourself nobody really cares. Just be a good person ( religion not needed for that) and in the end let the chips fall where they may.
Everyone has their own beliefs and if they directly affect your ability to do your job, then you should find another one. And a doctor's job is to do the very best in the interest of his/her patient's health. More to the point, making a referral is simply recognizing that something is outside your scope of expertise so why should a doctor suddenly be an authority on, what or should, can or cannot be done.

For those people that believe its ok to murder an unborn baby I have this question. If you do not want the baby, whats wrong with giving that little life up for adoption. I am sorry if I offend some but in my opinion abortion for convience is murder
Every child should be a wanted child. Too many children are looking for parents to adopt them.
