depends on how it is handled, corner stores with strict packaging and age verification laws the way we do cigarettes? Sure. A foreign owned private company with exclusive rights to sell a product that does not generate tax revenue for the province like The Beer Store? No.
I say yes on that spread the wealth out of you look at Colorado as an example they did it right when it came time to legalization.... I seen a documentary on it I think on Netflix I'm sure it's on YouTube as well

If you allow private sellers then it will be sold 0n reserves for cheaper like cigarettes now. ...and Trudeau will get no tax revenue from it. So one of the original reasons to make it legal becomes moot. Sadly in a few years from now we will realize the can of worms we opened when we made it legal . Our grandkids will bear the consequences of normalizing this drug use.
Once it is legal how can you stop any store from selling it. Beer was only sold from the L.C.B.O but now it is available in most grocery store---The same for Wine too. Cheap Cigarettes are already sold on the Black Market now and Marijuana will be quickly sold on the Black Market too.
The Government says they will stop illegal sales of Marijuana but they said that about Tobacco too.
Marijuana growers will sell to anyone who pays the price !

If you paid 10 per gram in the 60's you got ripped off. It was 20.00/oz in the 70's (28 grams)
When it's legalized, people are going to be smoking joints like cigarettes
when it is legalized extracts will take over. as it is, fewer and fewer people smoke the flowers any longer. extracts and vaping have taken over.
We will always have the abusers.....many of us would order one donut; then some will order 3...???? Some get one coffee per day...others need 3 X lg. People are dying from obesity.....don't know what the answer is....
