This. Even tho my child in the spectrum says she is ok with wearing a mask all day I know it won’t last and it will affect her. I’m deaf and work in schools this will pose a huge challenge for me to understand kids while they are wearing a mask or them understanding me. I’m not thrilled with this plan and see so many issues with this requirement. It’s one thing to wear a mask for 30mins to get groceries but for 6-7hrs that’s gonna be a challenge.

If your gonna make those exceptions you also need to req proof. What’s the point of making something mandatory then giving people a loop hole?? No one will wear one then cause they will just say they can’t lol. I’m deaf and me wearing a mask is not an issue ... it’s others wearing them that is. So I can say I’m deaf I don’t have to wear one but that makes no sense whatsoever. Lol. I think they need to rethink this. Unless businesses have the right to refuse service this isn’t gonna work.

So many things to consider and this barely covers it.. i dont like the idea of half and half.. especially with small children.. that could mean a kid is on opposite day as thier best friend and never see them.. doesnt that defeat the purpose of having them return for mental stability? we dont have enough daycares as it is, now working parents will have to find care for their kid for days they aren't at school and lets add now instead of kids all being in one place, and home every day, they will be all over to who ever or where ever can take care of them on off school days.. doesnt that defeat the purpose of trying to contain this? these higher ups need a reality check from those that work in the field.. for what will and will not work.. too many holes and too many unknowns. Sept 2nd is suppose to be the first day of school, does that mean we have to wait for Ford to make an announcement before they can start school now? LOL

As a hearing impaired person I agree. It is so hard to communicate with someone wearing mask. There are face shields out and the plexiglass protector walls in businesses that help alot. Its not so much other people I see out as I tend to keep my distance but the people working at businesses where i have to interact and cannot understand what they are saying to me! and there work mandates they were it so they wont lower it! those that have plexiglass is so much better at least i can see their mouths to read lips and they are still protected.

i agree with this.. i know people who have forgone getting medical help cause they didnt have the extra funds to pay for parking.. or people who have been in hospital long term with no visitors .. alone.. cause people cant afford to pay to visit .. yes pay to visit .. that just sounds rediculous its self!! I have worked in the hospital and have been both a patient and visitor and I see this from all sides.... its bad enough employees have to pay thier place of business to work there.. yep.. hospital employees have to pay to park there too!! thats nuts as well.. and with the new location of the hospital there is no other alternative for parking.. when it was downtown.. there were side streets and other location you could park for free and walk over.. if the fee was too much.. this is not an option at this new location.. something needs to change... for the hospital and all medical facilities that charge to park..
