So sad to hear of Paula's passing. I will miss seeing you both at Victoria Village.

Sincere condolences to you Joan. Floyd was such a lovely man. We had great chats mostly about music as we shared the same favorites. Lately, I would put on the oldies music channel and we would enjoy it together during his foot care. Thinking of you. 🙏

We will miss our dear friend of many years. We had some great times together, especially our road trip to Quebec. So many laughs with the ballroom gang. Your positive approach to your illness was heroic. Thank you for the memories Barb. Love Jackie and Mike

I would rather they focus on the noise bylaw. Loud music all hours is more annoying to me than someone's long grass.

Todd should be the coach of the OHL Barrie Colts. It was shameful how he was unceremoniously fired after being mentored all those years by Dale and successfully coaching the team when Dale was sick. Firing him after Dale died was also a slap in the face to Dale's memory. Shame on you Howie.

Terrified animals cannot put earplugs in. Most fireworks around here are just annoying noise makers with no " show" to go with them. So why bother. Barrie continues with its educational approach to people breaking the law. What is their deterrent? Aug 1 looms ahead where I will have to tranquiliz my terrified dog again, hopefully one night only if Law Enforcement can do exactly that, enforce the law.

I heard the restored train station sits on an aboriginal burial ground? Could this be why it isn't used? If so , what will become of the station after spending all that money on renovations?

Personally I think the money should be used to help these people by putting them in rehab not handing them a place to use illegal substances. They are very ill, addicted people ,someone's son or daughter and deserve real help not this ridiculous solution.

I support these lab workers. I was in a week or so ago. They were rushed off their feet and trying to deal with irritable patients on top of that. They were professional and kind and doing the best they could. As I sat waiting in a cubicle, I noticed how dirty the floors were, as if the floors were only washed where a machine could go. They deserve to work in a cleaner environment and be paid and treated properly. I think their employer is forgetting how they kept everything together during the pandemic.
