Sad to hear of Paul's passing. I too wondered why I hadn't seen him "around" lately..First met him back in the 90s when he was working for a landscaper building a deck at my parents house. He told me he was from switzerland. Surprising to hear about the italian connection. We always conversed in french (mostly). I loved his mosaic creations on his house. Including first nations history and symbolism. Very interesting fellow. My condolences to the family.

He was our biggest fan at jazz night. Been supporting us and cheering us on for many years. I always enjoyed our conversations. He had great stories about his very interesting life. And ofcourse he always had a new joke to tell. When he walked in past the band he would always say "Ok I'm here you can start now". Condolences from myself, the Northern Jazz Ensemble and the Sault Swing Band. Marc Dubreuil
