PP has had the security clearance before when he was in Harper cabinet, he can get it again at any time, and when he is prime minister he will automatically get it again. As NoMore said he didn't get it because it would gag him from speaking out about the interference happening. One of his top staffers has the clearance. But if PP were to find anything out about the interference he would not be able to act on it having the clearance. Only the prime minister could act without breaking the law.

PP has had the security clearance before when he was in cabinet. He his chief of staff has the clearance right now, he does not want it because then he can't talk about anything he finds. He also cannot use any of the info he finds if he has the security clearance, IE if one of the conservatives were under foreign influence for example. Right now he can do something about it, he can fire them for example. Once PP is prime minister he will get the clearance again. There is nothing in his past stopping him from getting it. Stop believing the CBC and Liberals that there is a non issue with him.

Its funny because this is shaping up to be an exact repeat of Trudeau Sr... Same thing happened under his government, debit was high, cost of living high... Trudeau Sr. Left and John Turner became the new prime minister the same way as Carney. Then once the election was called all the polls showed the liberals way in the lead. Come election day Mulroney and the Conservatives were the ones elected in.
The reason the polls are high right now is because the media is giving so much attention to the liberals right now, but that's good, because every time Carney opens his mouth he puts his foot in it and is going to loose himself the election. That's why he is taking almost no questions. Just remember too his first priority as prime minister was not to deal with the US Tariffs but to go take a trip to Europe where he got lambasted by the Canadian media...

Reducing to 0 is not cancelling it. The law continues to sit on the books, he can just do the same thing after the election and increase it again. Again it has to go through a vote to remove it. Until it sees a vote it will continue to be on the books and can be increased at any time. So its not gone.

He will say more once the election is called. Right now his job as opposition is to appose the liberals, but once the election kicks in things will change. He will reveal the plans. The issue is every time he gives any plans the Liberals/NDP steal the idea. Why would anyone want to give away all their plans for other parties to just steal them?

He did not cancel the Carbon tax, he paused it. There is a major difference in the two. The carbon tax can only be cancelled by a vote in parliament. Anything that involves money has to be voted on. As soon as the election is over if he gets elected he can go woops I lied again, not going to remove it... This is pretty much exactly the same as the GST/HST holiday, its for 60 days.

He didn't cancel it, he paused it. He does not have the power to cancel it, it has to go before parliament to be voted on. Anything involving money has to be voted on, Prime Ministers can't just spend or stop spending money without a vote. He basically has paused it till after the election, where he can then go woops, I lied and we are jacking up the tax more like he wants to do.

Oh don't you worry, get a good hat because you can eat it on election day. This trend has happened twice before... One under Trudeau Sr when he was kicked out too, next person took over, they thought they had momentum and bam... Mulroney was elected. Same thing happened for Kim Campbell... She thought the polls were in her favour after the same thing happened, and boom liberals got in.
Right now the news is focused on the Liberals, which is creating hype, but give it a little bit till it dies down and people remember the cost of living is high, homeless is high, crime is high, immigration is high... The only poll that counts is election day.

He said it himself in an debate panel, he is a European... That is what he told the world. Thats straight from his mouth, not something the conservatives said...
