I was in Sudbury a cpl of weeks ago and I couldn't believe it when I said to my mom that their roads were actually better than ours were... Theirs are usually way worse in the spring.

It'd be nice if they could look down the road from the one they're fixing and see the line of equally bad ones continuing on... Of the numerous major potholes in any 10 foot stretch of road, it seems like only one of them has been filled. 🧐 Watch out everyone!

Yeah Arnold, most adults get their news from a variety of sources and sites. I regularly read CNN, CTV, Epoch, OAN, NBC News and Fox News among other publications like the Washington Post, the National Post and BBC/CBC. I love comparing headlines on the same topics between them all. It's fascinating really.
Got any further diatribes about CBC? Is there any other sort of critique you can come up with against other people who don't agree with your assessment of the situation? It's always that eh? "Just some know-nothing who reads the CBC" squawk squawk!

Is everyone so up in arms over (at the critics highest estimate) literally one more penny per bottle of beer...? 🤔 Make it make sense, you're crying over a penny or less per. It's a user tax to support society's direct and indirect costs dealing with issues that drunks create. Drink less, problem solved (sarcastic, we know they won't). This is alcohol we're talking about here, a purely recreational consumption product. No one needs this to actually survive.

Did you notice the part of the article where it specifically says the city's "request for proposals failed to produce a single bid"?
Did the home owner not get quotes herself? Cause if not, it sure sounds very much like a 'head in the sand' attitude and a 'fix it for me' mentality...

Well I wouldn't want you representing my company either...
Representing the grossest political gong show contestant I would also be questioning why people are afraid to speak out about their views aligning with PPC platforms... Sounds like a muzzled DTrump which is worse than one who speaks his mind. At least when we're subjected to his bizarre tirades, we can kinda sorta see what kind of person he is.

And she has multiple associations with many actual local businesses and food processors. She can't get everything local, who around here makes cooking oil? Any companies here making takeout containers? Saran wrap distributors anyone? The point was, Flanagan's is Canadian, local enough when compared to GFS' "Canadian" division, just a child under its American flag.

You're WRONG
As a direct result of American tariffs, the Canadian government responded. So it feeds back to one man, Trump.
Every sensible person knows what a tariff is, we know we pay it if our government imposes one but Trump doesn't seem to understand that the people of the US are paying HIS tariffs. Our retaliatory ones are making US goods more expensive, buy Canadian, Mexican, Guatemalan etc if you don't want to pay anything extra in taxes (tariffs are just another tax rate).

You are aware you have to yield to the bus eh, as it pulls away from their stops etc.

While you're at it, how about you put in an advance left turn signal for westbound traffic trying to turn down Goulais Ave... Four or five light changes and we'd finally get through. I avoid that light at all costs when turning left. Goulais Ave is a mess and it takes forever to get a chance to turn. Korah Rd is much easier with the advance left turn light and the road is so much smoother.
