I don't think they should have to set aside any low-income units as there are already plenty in this town. Yes, there are wait lists for many, but priority is also given to those in dire need and unsurprisingly(because many on low-income housing are just trying to get somewhere stable in order to move further, like myself) renters move on relatively quickly. As a single mother, I was on the wait list for less than a year. And, I do think we need more housing for the independent elderly, and I can certainly say many of my elderly neighbours I've befriended do not care for some of the less.. clean people in my building.

I have an IQ of 118; only got A's and B's in school; zero criminal record; I don't do drugs, drink, or even smoke; I don't party, I don't listen to loud music, and my apartment is spotless(and always smells like apple cinnamon!); yet I live in low-income housing. I know many people with degrees and jobs who can not afford to rent on their own and have to live at home or find people to rent with, or live in low-income housing. People are so quick so assume, lump people together, just because of things they've read or because they've had some bad experiences. Getting tired of the ignorant/close-minded attitudes of many.

I was ready to say it was a red fox, as most people assume those are something supernatural, but my gosh that is eerie. Definitely sounded wolfish though, maybe caught in a trap? Or mourning a pack mate. Super cute hearing the baby trying to mimic!

They don't, and they don't have to because I ask for no one's love or respect simply because I exist(I once dated a Christian whose parents actually pretended I DIDN'T exist, so this is actually a step up). But neither do I give love or respect to those who believe themselves "superior" for one reason or another. Which is the difference between my boyfriend and the one who raised him. My boyfriend is humble, and open. And I'm thankful for the proof that children do not have to become as close-minded and ignorant as their parents. ( :

Though I am an atheist, this makes me happy for my boyfriend, who is a Jehovah's Witness. It's much closer to where he lives as well, while still being in a quiet area, on a main road. A lovely place for many to worship, and eco-friendly is also a plus!

Kaskawan, the same could be said of a simple funeral and burial. The entire process of buring a loved one is ridiculously pricey for people, especially considering we all die. Our bodies don't care what happens to them after death, but why not allow more options for people?
Tamashii, I realized after I commented that even just in town, planted trees don't last long in some areas lol. I just believe we should have more options!

I apologize, I wasn't bashing, though I guess I could've picked a different example. Everyone is free to believe what they like. I was just making a blunt point— We aren't immortal, despite what anyone, religious or just hopeful, would like to believe lol.

It'd be nice if we could adopt some of the other burial practices out there, such as being buried in a pod which eventually becomes a tree; I believe vandalism would hit an indoor mausoleum, as horrible as that would be. But with our town's aging population, it only makes sense to create more space for the dead.

I live across from both the new automotive shop and the Water Tower, and heard absolutely nothing while this was going on. But I have heard quite the ruckus coming from the parking lots at the Water Tower over the past couple years, between all the big rigs coming and going (not the rig owners' faults, of course, just an example), and occasionally even people setting off fireworks from the back lot. Most recently, it sounded like someone blew something up just a few days ago.
Perhaps J.J should sort out what goes on there first, before complaining about his new neighbours. And I don't believe anyone staying at the Water Tower Inn will have to deal with the new shop, say, changing a tire in the middle of the night anyways.

Voting for Lisa for this provincial election, and Carney (hopefully) for Federal.
Lisa is putting in the work, she shows up, she is doing good in our community, and deserves the chance to do more. Haven't seen anything from the other candidates.
And I'd never vote in someone willing to take Trump&Musk at the same time, like Pierre&his Maple MAGA. Carney is our best chance. Pierre will have us learning the US anthem as the 51st.
