This is a very commendable group of young people. I am a new Barrie resident and I see garbage everywhere- and I will do my part to help keep this city clean. Go kids!

I am confused by the reaction of our residents. I have flown a Canadian flag on my house for over 20 years. In 2020, suddenly I became "a rebel" because the flag was a symbol of leftist angst... the beacon of an oppressor nation. Then quite suddenly the same objectors took an "elbow's up" stance over the US tariff play. Which is it? It tells me the ideology of this group was not well thought out, and contradictory.

Wow, Elon is letting the US govt know about extreme waste in their system and we have Canadians protesting? They should be out protesting Canadian problems! Of which there are so many. Direct your efforts to something more productive, like the extreme debt, homelessness sharp rise in crime we have experienced in the last years.

What's the better way forward? Buy high speed satelite service from a known entity with more than 7,000 satellites in the air, or buy it from Telesat at a [Federal only] investment of $2.14 B? And a lot of promises, but zero satellites in the air, I might add. Seems like an easy decision.
