Mark Carney probably said it best when he indicated Canada should look to trade with other countries that share our values. The US under Trump’s leadership certainly doesn’t exhibit Canadian values and or ethics. Despite political rhetoric from some politicians Canada is not broken and we are now united in our fight against Trump’s aggression.

Yes, it must be frustrating when you “care too much”.

Just saying however there does seem to be a disparity between the funding and the maintenance of the buildings related to the Veterinary Faculty vs the other faculties. As well the University Board seems to have an uncanny ability to choose ineffective leadership.

Sadly the University and the President have continued to fail students with their overreach in this case and their debacle with the lack of housing for first year students caused by their desire to increase the coffers with little regard for a quality educational experience. I understand there was a more qualified candidate for President but unfortunately the board seems to have chosen poorly. Both the community and the students pay.

Years and years later? “Long lost, bad boy baby daddies”? Maybe…..

Heartening to see a truly authentic and genuine human being providing much needed attention to a very vulnerable population….not like others whose shallow promises and lack of action are so evident over time.

Beyond political lines I think what is most disturbing is the quality of candidates. These are the individuals who are going to represent us in parliament. Both major parties have had issues…but there are still some candidates running who definitely don’t represent Canadian values. St. Thomas-Elgin is a great example of where this candidate will win but his values I’m sure aren’t in sync with his riding. It is obvious he should be removed….will be interesting to see since he is going to win if he in fact be removed or just slide into parliament.
