Improperly locating election signs can impede sight-lines at traffic intersections and thereby constitute a traffic safety issue. This is always an issue though from what I’ve seen around Guelph, most signs seem to be compliant with by-laws!

You need to subscribe to “HaltonHillsToday” to get information on your riding, candidates etc. You will vote in Halton Hills North and if you go to the HaltonHills Today(I just did), you can find your candidates and other information - they cover both Halton Hills North and South(there’s a drop-down menu) and the currently registered candidates for both ridings.

Do some research. Conestogo, like all of Ontario’s colleges responded to the combination of government freezes on domestic student fees, funding caps, plus the expansion of foreign student visas.

Hard to keep score. Conservatives lost three(3) today, one in Quebec, one in Windsor, and one in British Columbia, while the Liberals had Chiang’s belated resignation.
After only one week of campaigning I guess that suggests closer vetting of candidates may be necessary but particularly that the Cons haven’t been too diligent in looking at controversial utterances before announcing them as candidates. The Liberal was formerly a cop and as the incumbent ought to have known that casual remarks can quickly upend a career.
Just under four weeks to go - who’ll stumble next?

And President Sheinbaum, not being up for election, can much more easily ignore public declarations of resistance plans than Canada’s party leaders who are confronted with cameras, mics, and reporters all day long. Our free press, necessary to a democratic society, has little choice but to continually report on reactions to the Mango Mugger’s latest threats and pronouncements.

The only way Cheeto knows is Putin’s way. As long as he’s screwing up NATO, the EU or America’s traditional allies, Trump has free-reign.

Try getting a better employer. Any reputable employer (unless the size of their operation precludes), ought to encourage employees’ participation in public service as in allowing employees to serve in military reserves, or volunteer fire departments etc.
